Infected Toe Suggestions?
So the other day (Thursday) I had hard skin in the corner of my toe/toe nail. So I pulled it out.. It didn’t hurt and it didn’t bother me. It just bled a little and that was it..
Then that night, I woke up from the pain.
The pain has been getting worse and the size of my toe has too.
Its disgusting and painful.
I have soaked it in Epsom salt. Put Neosporin and a bandaid on it. I cut it open and pus just gushed out of it and then I soaked it in the salt water again. I’ve put alcohol on it. And Peroxide. and it still hurts.
This morning I woke up and my toe was 2x as big as it normally is. The top layer was nothing but gooey infection. I got it off and pushed on it and the infection started coming out like crazy.
But no matter what I do, it won’t heal and it just gets worse with the pain.
I can’t walk on it, or else it hurts so i have to walk on the side of my foot.
Any little pressure on it and it hurts.
Is there anything else I can try to do before having to go to the doctors?
I know it sounds gross but Im sure its happened to a lot of people.
But please, any advice?
You need antibiotics–see a doctor or go to a walk-in clinic ASAP. You don’t want the infection to enter your bloodstream and develop into sepsis.

Wrap your foot, keep your hands off your toe and go to an Urgent Care clinic today. Follow up with your primary doctor on Monday, if you can get yourself worked into the schedule.
